Into the root folder of My Flash disk install IGO8 but make sure the folder named to IGO8 and the exe files is IGO8.exe Open sys.txt in the IGO8 folder and make sure the first 3 lines are the same: [folders ] app='My Flash DIsk IGO8' sdcard='My Flash Disk IGO8' Disconnect your device from the PC and start IGO8 it should work now. If it not just rename the modified (MioMaporiginal.exe) to its original name. (MioMap.exe) Also delete the three files what you copied into the folder (MioMap.exe, MioMap.scp, MioMap.exe.id) But SI (SystemInformationt) interface can run on your device.

I would be most appreciative to receive the latest IGO8 or IGO Primo for the Mio M400 as well as the newest USA Maps, POI's, etc. If I understand correctly, all I would have to do is connect my Mio M400 to my computer, drag all the contents out of my Mio M400 to a desktop folder to empty. Then, I would drag the required IGO8 or IGO Primo and the USA Maps, POI's etc. Into my Mio device. If by chance I am not successful, I would remove and replace my original folders. If correct, a step by step tutorial and links to the above will be most appreciated.
