A while back, asked if anybody had tried to copy the contents of the navigation SD card in the 3 and 6 (2014+ models). I offered to upload an.iso, and finally got around to it. This is the nav SD card from a 2014 Mazda 6 GT.

• DMG - 2.64GB • CDR/ISO - 7.48 GB • ZIP - 2.61 GB The actual card is an 8GB card, formatted as FAT32, named 'TOMTOMDISK'. The DMG and CDR/ISO were 'ripped' on a Mac, so the DMG works perfectly with Macs, but the CDR/ISO appears corrupted on Windows machines. The ZIP file is a simple zipped folder with all the contents of the nav SD card. The zipping was done on a Windows machine so it should work fine with other Windows machines.

Edit: Gold already? I bought the nav card for my 2015, Mazda 3. Its navteq, but I locked it, then checked and copied the files before installing into my car, there was 2 files labled 'cardnotused.txt' and 'cardnotused.txt.sgn' under 'content' folder.

After installing in the car, those files were gone, and under the 'license' folder was a new file called 'device.nng' along with the lyc file. I am betting other files are written to with the device name, id, serial number, etc, that lock the sd card to that vehicle's nav system. I am looking for a file reader so I can open the nng file but so far, no luck. Also, when I imaged the sd card to another sd card (of greater size. 8gb to a 16gb) the new sd card would not work.

It refused to load the maps. Some files probably have the sd card's serial number imprinted on them as well.
